If you would like me to facilitate a therapeutic personal development group, I have 20 years' of experience managing and running groups in a range of subjects. Groups can be between three and 12 members. I accept referrals from GP's, NHS, Social Work Dept. and other organisations. Groups can be open or closed depending upon the context.

Cost

One 60-minute group - £140 which can be externally funded or shared between group members.

Six 50-minute sessions - £750 which can be externally funded or shared between group members.

Accommodation can be provided.

This is payable in advance by bank transfer or by cash or cheque at the time of the appointment.

Confidentiality and records

Confidentiality and privacy are discussed, negotiated and agreed at the beginning of the first group session with all group participants. I treat the content of groups as confidential although I will discuss my work with my clinical supervisor. On rare occasions (involving legal responsibilities and/or risk) I may need to communicate with other professionals but this will only proceed after first discussing what is to be shared and why with the group.

I am registered as a Data Controller with ICO, registration reference ZB294819 to meet legal requirements regarding the safe storage of your personal information. 

 

 

Cancellation

If you wish to cancel a session, this can be done by text or email.

Sessions cancelled with more than 24 hours’ notice will be rescheduled without charge.

Sessions cancelled within 24 hours will be charged at £30 (plus any room hire already paid).

 

 

Our relationship

If we meet accidentally outside the sessions, I will not acknowledge group members unless you greet me first. This is simply so that if you are with anyone, you don’t have to explain who I am. It is not appropriate to discuss any issues unless within a pre-arranged group.
