I currently offer sessions via Zoom or in person.

There are several ways to contact me if you would like to book a counselling session:

Telephone or text: 07962639096

Direct message: please use the link at the bottom of the page

I also accept referrals from GP's, NHS, Social Work Dept. and other services and organisations.

One 50-minute session - £55

This is payable in advance by bank transfer prior to the time of the appointment.

I work Mondays and Tuesdays.

Remote appointments

I am a professional member of ACTO (level 2) so am  qualified to deliver counselling via remote platforms such as Zoom.

Confidentiality and records

The content of sessions is confidential although I will discuss my work with my clinical supervisor. On rare occasions (involving legal responsibilities and/or risk) I may need to communicate with other professionals but this will only proceed after first letting you know what is to be shared and why. Brief records will be kept after each session but are stored securely. You are free to request access to these at any time.

I am registered as a Data Controller with ICO, registration reference ZB294819 to meet legal requirements regarding the safe storage of your personal information.

Due to my respect of your privacy, I would request that you do not identify me on social media.

If you wish to cancel or reschedule a session, this can be done by email or text.

Sessions cancelled with more than 24 hours’ notice will be rescheduled without charge. Sessions cancelled within 24 hours will be charged at the full rate. This is due to it being too short notice to reallocate the appointment.

Our relationship

If we meet accidentally outside the sessions, I will not acknowledge you unless you greet me first. This is so you don’t have to explain who I am if you are with anyone.

It is not appropriate to discuss any issues unless within a pre-arranged session.

You can book as many sessions as you feel you need but this will be evaluated and reviewed as you progress. There may be time in counselling when you feel upset or that counselling isn’t helping. Please let me know rather than stopping attending so we can consider the situation together. Usually, you will know when you are ready to cease counselling and together we will find the way that feels comfortable for you to do this.

If there are any aspects of my counselling service that you are unhappy with, please discuss this with me in the first instance. If you feel your concern has not been fully addressed, I am a member of the BACP and as such abide by their professional standards. You are able to report any complaints directly to them.
